Job Summary

Procure raw, packaging and indirect materials, services & CapEx at optimum prices to deliver business a competitive edge by implementing of purchase processes & systems and ensuring strong internal customer orientation & a robust supplier relationship

Roles & Responsibilities

Buy materials as per business requirements and ensure continuous supply of materials (right quantity at right quality & right price) to all Business Units. Help framing Procurement Strategies to deliver Supply Chain objectives.
Get involved in ‘Cost Optimization’ Group practices and material budget preparation.
Ensure implementation of procurement processes and systems and work on improvement plans.
Spend management of key categories under guidance of Purchase Manager. Leverage on Group procurement buying.
Help developing ‘Vendor Performance Rating’ mechanism and share with the vendors and plan improvement through VPIC and Supplier Coordination meeting
Directly interact with key suppliers and maintain positive and effective business relationships with them in line with the business strategies.
Negotiate prices with suppliers and ensure spend within budget
Ensure strong Internal Customer Relationship while dealing with various business stakeholders.
Building a high-performing team

Work experience requirement

5 – 8 years of work experience in Food FMCG sector

Qualification

MBA / Materials Management
For PM : A Degree from a reputed Packaging Institute
For IMSC: An Engineering background
