Job Description

Responsible for securing new customers and maintain / develop existing accounts.
Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating Gross Profit
Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, to maximize profits & develop new revenue streams.
Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings
Manage a Trade Lane with key stakeholders
Initiate dialogue with key decision makers (middle level managers) on products and draft a trade development strategy (both short and long term

Qualifications

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Over 10 years of previous experience in forwarding business
At least 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development and contract negotiations
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Valid Driver’s License and own car
Extrovert personality combined with strong building relations skills
Good command of written and spoken English
Ability to work with MS Office tools, knowledge of Salesforce system would be an advantage
